Ashish Samuel (Psychiatric Counsellor, KMC Hospital, Chengannur) and Smt. Sreeja Sambath (Clinical Psychologist, KMC Hospital, Chengannur) has led the awareness sessions.

K (Professor & HOD of Dept. of Pediatrics at Government Medical College, Konni), Inaugurated the BNRP (BASIC NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROGRAM) at Medical college, Konni, Pathanamthitta on 10th December 2024. Dr. Rony Joseph (Consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician, KMC Hospital, Chengannur) was the Course Coordinator and Instructor. Co- Instructors were Dr. Jijo Joseph (Lead instructor) and Dr. Arun Mammen.

The OP operates from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the morning and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. T. B. Dr. Deena Thomas, Consultant Neonatologist, was invited to attend the “Simulation Scenario Development Meeting” held at AIIMS, New Delhi, on 22nd and 23rd of November 2024.

“Pause the Menopause” – scientific session by Dr. Kavitha L. S, Senior Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Cosmetic Gynaecology, at CGCON 2024 (1st Cosmetic Gynaecology Congress) on 16th & 17th November 2024, organized by the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of India (LVRII) at Chennai.

On World Prematurity Day, the Department of Neonatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences organized the awareness class on "Risk Factors and Management of Preterm Birth" for Elanthoor Anganwadi workers. The awareness session was held at the Elanthoor Block Panchayat Hall on 15th November 2024. Dr. Dona Mary Philip (Consultant Gynaecologist), Dr. Arun Thomas (Consultant Neonatologist) and Dr. Aparna Sankar R. (Jr. Consultant Gynaecologist) led the sessions. Over 100 Anganwadi workers from various areas attended the class.
