Department of Multi-Organ Transplant at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences organised the Inauguration of the Post-Renal Transplant Comprehensive Care & Lifestyle Modification Clinic and the First Anniversary Celebration of the Renal Transplant Programme. The clinic was inaugurated by Smt. Uma Preman, Secretary, Santi Medical Information Centre.
The function was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. Alexander Koodarathil, Managing Director, Dr. KMC Hospital. The Post-Renal Transplant Comprehensive Care & Lifestyle Modification Clinic offers dedicated and holistic care for renal transplant recipients. The clinic focuses on long-term health, lifestyle management, medication guidance and regular follow-up to support patients in maintaining better health and quality of life after transplantation.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Geevarghese K. The personal journeys shared by renal transplant recipients and their families added a deeply meaningful and emotional touch to the occasion. The programme was also attended by doctors and staff from various departments of Dr. KMC Hospital.
