As part of the Kerala Government’s ‘Arogyam Anandam’ cancer awareness and screening campaign, Dr. K.M. Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences, Chengannur in collaboration with the Kerala Police Association, Kerala Police Officers Association, organised the cancer awareness class and free cancer screening at Police Training Centre, Alappuzha.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri. Madhu Babu (DYSP, Alappuzha), The event was attended by Smt. Ahalya(Kerala Police Association State Committee member), Smt. Jayanti (Kerala Police Officers Association State Committee member) and Smt. Suja (District Committee member).
Medical team led by Dr. Sarah J. Easaw (Medical Director & Consultant Oncologist, Oncology Centre, KMC Hospital) conducted the cancer screening camp and an awareness session on symptoms and treatment methods for women police officers and the families of police personnel.
