Under the leadership of the Jeevanam Cancer Society, a heartfelt gathering of cancer survivors and the release of the book ‘Kanalkaadu Thandiya Phoenix Pakshikal’, written by 15 women who overcame cancer, was inaugurated by Minister K. Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the Maldives government have been initiated the steps to establish drug rehabilitation centers across various islands in the Maldives. The Maldivian Minister for Homeland Affairs and Technology & the CEO of the National Drug Agency, Mr. Muhammad Rashid visited KMC Hospital to discuss the necessary arrangements to open the drug rehabilitation centers in Maldives, to be operated by KMC Hospital.
