Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences organized a Doctors’ Panel Discussion on World Tobacco Day, centered around the theme “Unmasking the Appeal – Countering Nicotine and Tobacco Addiction.”
The panel discussion was led by Dr. Winnie Elizabeth Jose (Consultant Pulmonologist), Dr. Preethy V. Varghese (Consultant Neurologist), Dr. Ruben John (Consultant Psychiatrist), Dr. Nidhun V. Ashok (Consultant Oncologist) and Dr. Jibi Zachariah (Cardiology).
The interactive session provided patients and bystanders an opportunity to directly engage with the doctors and gain insights into the physical and mental health impacts of tobacco and nicotine addiction.
