Department of Behavioural Sciences & De-addiction at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences, Chengannur, organized the Psychiatry CME – inPSYght’26 on “Clinical Perspectives: Adult ADHD vs. EUPD”

The event commenced with a welcome and introductory address by Dr. Ruben John, Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr. KMC Hospital, Chengannur.

The CME was inaugurated by Dr. Suja Kurian, Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Pushpagiri Medical College and Retired Professor & Head, Department of Psychiatry, Christian Medical College, Vellore.

The dignitaries on the dais included Dr. Varghese P.   • “Managing the Impulsivity Domain: Off-label Pharmacotherapy and Emerging Strategies” by Dr. Vishal Indla, Chief Psychiatrist & Director, Indlas Hospital, Vijayawada; Director, ICGC and Director, Shanthivan.
  • “ADHD and the Transition to Adulthood” by Dr. Jayasankar. G, Consultant Psychiatrist, VSM Hospital, Mavelikara.
  • “Psychometric Nuances in the Assessment of ADHD vs. EUPD” by Psy. Aneesha Jose, M.Phil Clinical Psychologist, Prapthi CDAC, Kottayam.

During the event, Dr. Ruben John, Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr. KMC Hospital, Chengannur, released his authored book, “Inside the Storm, Outside the Glass.” He also delivered a special session titled “The Search: Anecdotes and Frustrations.”
