MEDIFIT Clinic – Kerala’s first clinically guided fitness initiative.
Department of Orthopaedics at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences launched Medifit Clinic inaugurated by film actor Shri. Narain.
Presiding over the event, Rev. Fr. Dr. Alexander Koodarathil (Managing Director, Dr. KMC Hospital) stated that unlike conventional fitness approaches, the program operates entirely under clinical supervision, ensuring safer and more effective health and fitness management.
The program offers personalized fitness plans that combine medically supervised exercise and dietary modifications based on individual health conditions and doctors’ recommendations.

Dr. Varghese Thomas and Dr. Jobin Alex Mohan (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. KMC Hospital), Dr. Geevarghese K. Mathew (Medical Superintendent & Consultant Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon) and Dr. Naveen Pillai (Sr. Consultant Anaesthetist) also addressed the gathering. More than 50 fitness trainers, doctors and staff from various departments attended the event.
