Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Kerala – Shri. T. K. Vinodkumar IPS Inaugurated the Accident & Trauma Care Training Program (ATPP) by Chengannur Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences at the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Thiruvananthapuram.
The event was graced with the presence of Dr. M. V. Pillai (Chairman of the Advisory board at Oncology Centre – Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences; Clinical Professor of Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University – Philadelphia, USA; President of International Network of Cancer Treatment & Research (INCTR USA)) who had done the Keynote Address on “Price of liberty is eternal vigilance, Oncology today follows the same dictum”. Rev. Fr. Dr. Alexander Koodarathil (Managing Director, Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences) made the programme presentation on “ATPP: The Movement Revolutionizing the Trauma Care in India”.
ATPP training was led by Dr. Arun Raj. S. L (Consultant Emergency Medicine), Dr. Hari S. Chandran (Consultant Psychologist) and Dr. Brien Oommen Thomas (Consultant Reconstructive & Plastic Surgeon).
Over 120 officers of the Vigilance department has undergone the training programme which had the presence of Shri. E. S. Bijumon (SP – Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Kerala), Shri. R. D. Ajith (SP Rtd), Shri. Vinod. C (DySP – Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Kerala), Dr. K. G. Suresh (Cardiology department) and Staff from the KMC Hospital.
