Shri George Kurian, Hon’ble Minister of State for Minority Affairs & Fisheries, Govt. of India, Inaugurated the Advanced Cardiac Laser Centre at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences. He also presented the NABH certificate awarded to the hospital by the Quality Council of India for maintaining high standards. KMC Hospital Managing Director, Rev. Fr. Dr. Alexander Koodarathil, in his Presedential Address, stated that all facilities for heart transplant surgeries have been completed and highlighted the hospital’s ongoing research in Cardiac diseases.
New cardiac health checkup packages at affordable rates were also introduced during the function. Senior cardiologists Dr. Madhu Paulose, Dr. Anand Srinivasan, Dr. Devarajan K.A., Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, Thiruvanvandoor Grama Panchayat President Shri. P. V. Sajan, Shri. Joji Cherian, Panchayath members Shri. Sajeev Valliyil, Shri. Saju Edakkallel etc. attended the function.
