Dr. Hima Ravindranath (Faculty Member, University of St. Augustine, USA) inaugurated the Lymphedema Clinic & conducted the Workshop on Lymphedema on Monday, 16th June 2025. The function was presided by Rev. Fr. Dr. Alexander Koodarathil (Managing Director, KMC Hospital).
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sarah J. Easaw (Medical Director & Consultant Oncologist, Oncology Centre, KMC Hospital), Dr. Geevarghese K. Mathew (Medical Superintendent & Consultant Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon), Dr. John Thomas (Consultant Surgical Oncologist, KMC Hospital), Dr. Nidhun V. Ashok (Consultant Oncologist, KMC Hospital), Dr. Boaz Vincent (Consultant Radiation Oncologist, KMC Hospital, Chengannur), Dr. Rebecca John (Chief Operating Officer, KMC Hospital) along with doctors and staff from various departments.
The gathering of cancer survivors was inspiring, as they shared their experiences. An awareness session was conducted by Ms. Soumya T. B (Consultant Dietitian, KMC Hospital) followed by cultural programmes.
