The Department of Psychiatry and De-addiction at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the NSS Karayogam, Poovathoor, organized the Mental Health Awareness Session at Government L. P. School, Poovathoor.

The awareness class was led by Dr. Reuben John (Consultant Psychiatrist, KMC Hospital, Chengannur) and Shri. M.K. Sreekumar (Excise Preventive Officer, Rtd. & Vimukthi – State Government Trainer).

Shri. R. Mohankumar (NSS Director Board Member & Taluk Union President, Thiruvalla) and Shri. P. Prasannakumar (President, NSS Karayogam) were present at the event.
